Introducing our New Chairman

We are pleased to introduce Ciaran McAreavey as the new Chairperson of the Choice Group. Ciaran was appointed in September 2020 and follows Hazel Bell who stepped down from the role, after several years leading the Association.

Works at Ballybeen Square Phase 2 are almost finished and are scheduled for completion this month.

Choice Housing Solar Photo-Voltaic (PV) Systems

Choice Housing have around 380 Solar PV systems across Northern Ireland which collectively generate over 500,000kWh of renewable electricity each year. Our portfolio ranges from much larger PV systems installed on apartment blocks or sheltered housing schemes, to individual domestic PV systems, where the electricity is used directly by tenants in their homes.

Killynure Green Phase 2

Choice have a history of developing new homes to the highest energy standards, with Killynure Green (Phase 2) the latest ground breaking development designed to meet a much higher standard, which will facilitate reduced carbon emissions and energy costs for residents

Choice Housing Communal LED Lighting Upgrades

In 2019/20 Choice Housing carried out lighting upgrades at a number of our sheltered or supported housing schemes, with LEDs fitted along with sensors to ensure lighting is available when it is required.
